New Route for 2025

New route for 2025, starting at the barrier at the promenade as usual, but instead heading straight up to Bray Cross via a trail on the left hand side.

Runners will touch the cross before making their way over the headlands towards the Trig Point on Bray Head Hill, before looping back down on the left side, past the old cable car and Raheen-a-Cluig ruins to finish back at the barrier. The course will be varied with lots of different terrain.

The Junior route is approx. 3.5k and will set off at 19:35. It will follow the main route but loop back after the gate down from Bray Cross.

Please login to myIMRA to volunteer to help at this event. You should aim to volunteer at least once for every 10 events that you run.

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
