All runners must bring the above items to the race. The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day, depending on conditions etc., and clearly advised at Registration.
You should also have the means to carry all the kit in case required.
Failure to have the required items may lead to you being denied entry to the race, or disqualification. Random checks may be carried out.

No jacket = no result. Bring the mandatory jacket and have it crossing the finish line.
THERE IS NO SELF-TIMING AT IMRA EVENTSYou should start the race at the specified gun-times, or choose a distance that suits your ability.
Registration: Will be in the forest car park at the end of the access road and will be open from 18:15 until 19:15. Parking & Access: The barrier at the forest entrance will be open from 18:00 until 19:15. It will reopen at 20:15. Please please car pool from the Ashford house as parking is very tight and you don’t have to go out of your way if your coming from Dublin.. Parking will be in the forest car park and along the access road to the car park. Several marshals will be controlling parking. Your cooperation is essential. The later you arrive, the further you are likely to be from registration, and the start. The distance may be a kilometre or more, so be sure to allow sufficient time, and if in doubt go to registration ready to run. - Prizegiving Location:
- Prize giving will be at the Ashford house n11 as now it’s called for some food etc..
Volunteers (Non-Running)
You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize
Volunteers (Running)
Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
