Route map for IMRA Djouce The Ayling Abyss Route 2021 by Joseph Boyle on plotaroute.com

Getting There:
Djouce Woods, Old Long Hill Road - Turn off N11 at Kilmacanogue onto R755 for Glendalough. After 1.5km, take the right-hand turn for the R760 - Enniskerry/ Powerscourt Waterfall Road sign. After 1.3km take a sharp left-hand turn for the L1036 - Sally Gap/ Roundwood Road sign. Car Parking will be tight , follow the parking marshal's instructions - The main parking is at the first car park at Djouce Woods, Old Long Hill ( grid ref : 0213 131 ). When this car park is full, you will be diverted up Long Hill to the second car park. Car Pooling is recommended - after coming off the N11 at Kilmac, there is a car park to the right off the roundabout at Pluck's, this can accommodate about 30 cars and we would suggest that car pooling be from here. Also, Pluck's can accommodate some cars but only if this car park is full. Registration / Race start is one km down the hill from the main car park at the " v " in the road.. If you are parked in the second car park, you can get down to registration / race start through the forest, about 800m, fairly steep drop. Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
