- Route Description:
Long Route:
The route this year will differ substantially from previous years due to widespread storm damage but will not be any easier and slightly longer, final route ......
Getting There:
Djouce Woods, Old Long Hill Road - Turn off N11 at Kilmacanogue onto R755 for Glendalough. After 1.5km, take the right-hand turn for the R760 - Enniskerry/ Powerscourt Waterfall Road sign. After 1.3km take a sharp left-hand turn for the L1036 - Sally Gap/ Roundwood Road sign.
Car Parking will be tight , follow the parking marshal's instructions - The main parking is at the first car park at Djouce Woods, Old Long Hill ( grid ref : 0213 131 ). When this car park is full, you will be diverted up Long Hill to the second car park.
Car Pooling is recommended - after coming off the N11 at Kilmac, there is a car park to the right off the roundabout at Berto's, this can accommodate about 30 cars and we would suggest that car pooling be from here.
Registration is in the Long Hill car park and the Race start / Finish is 500m down the fire road at the first " v " in the road... Parking locations.

Juniors:
Short/ Junior Route:
Juniors and short course runners start off at 7.35pm and follows the main course to paddock ponds where it veers up into the woods before the Lakes carpark and heads back on some technical ground through the forest to the finish line, distance 4.6km
You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize
Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of
people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful,
volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
