All runners must bring the above items to the race. The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day, depending on conditions etc., and clearly advised at Registration.

You should also have the means to carry all the kit in case required.

Failure to have the required items may lead to you being denied entry to the race, or disqualification. Random checks may be carried out.

**PLEASE NOTE IMRA DOES NOT DO TRANSFER OR REFUNDS. PLEASE ENSURE YOU CAN DO THIS EVENT BEFORE PURCHASING, THANK YOU ******* Registration will take place at Scoil Pol Kilfinnane from 5pm on Friday 26th January. Entry online only. Complete a lovely 28km course taking in many of the local woodlands and also topping out over Seefin Mountain. There will be a cut off point at the check point approx 15km into the course. ********* Those not getting here on the time 2hr 20min will not be allowed up over the mountain section. If you are thinking you may not be able to attain this you may contact race director to request an early start. Early start will be 6pm. Marshals will man the route at sections along the way. The Checkpoint will have water etc and food depending on the weather at the time but defo jellies, biscuits etc. Mandatory Kit is: Rain jacket, full vizi vest, headlamp with spare batteries, mobile phone charged and volume on loud, face covering.
Prizegiving Location:
On finishing, finishers will receive a souvenir Beanie and a hot food with tea/coffee.
 

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
