All runners must bring the above items to the race. The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day, depending on conditions etc., and clearly advised at Registration.

You should also have the means to carry all the kit in case required.

Failure to have the required items may lead to you being denied entry to the race, or disqualification. Random checks may be carried out.

Route Description:
route is varied with fire road/ grassy section and abit of bike track

eircode for askamore community hall below Y25F6D8 parking at same please follow instructions on the day
Organisers Instructions:
registration will be open from 9 15 to 10 30, no late entries will be accepted, Reg will close on time to allow organisers get to the start, please have required kit on you at all time's suitable jacket and buff/hat required for this race No early start as deemed moderate start is approx 1 km from community hall, stay on the footpath to the left, Volunteers please be at hall for 9am. short/junior course will start 5 mins after main start and following main race till a marshal directs you to turn, please keep an eye out on the carpool section, please make your seats available, we need to make use of this better so please take a look.
Prizegiving Location:
prizegiving will be in same hall as reg, we will have tea/coffee and some food along with the raffle
 

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
