Getting There:
Take the N11 to Wicklow and follow the road signs towards Rathnew/Wicklow. Take the Rathdrum/Glenealy road at the roundabout in Rathnew.

As you enter Glenealy you will see the Catholic church on the left hand side. Parking in the carpark beside the church and on the road behind the church - just over the rail tracks. Some parking also available opposite the pub and up the main street.

Registration is in the pub in the village. It is a 10 min walk from registration to the start.

Organisers Instructions:
Start is a 10 minute walk from the village of Glenealy, Co. Wicklow.

PARKING: Parking is in Glenealy village. Please park in the church car park on the way into the village and on the road up behind the church (over the rail way tracks. The area across the road from the pub is fenced off at the moment so there is very limited parking in the village. We have permission in 2019 to use the car park in the GAA club so that is also an option. Please be considerate to the locals.

Do not attempt to drive up the small road to the race start - there is absolutely no parking available on the road. Glenealy is a small village so please car pool to minimise impact and to ensure there is enough parking for all. REGISTRATION: In the pub in Glenealy. Please arrive early as registration closes at 7;15 sharp and there is a 10 minute walk up to the start from registration.

All competitors, and particularly those who have not competed this year already, should READ the NEW REGISTRATION GUIDELINES.

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
