European/Snowden trial race

On a Saturday when storm Hannah was sweeping across the country we had our own Hanna running up Djouce oblivious to the winds swirling around him.Zak Hanna was adding the European trial race to his world trial race which he won on the same uphill course as last year Jeff and James were on the summit braving the elements to welcome him Niall MC Carthy an international orienteer came through in second place making the others work very hard to make the selection target times.in the end Mark just go there with Eoin close by It will be very interesting to see how things pan out in July in Switzerland
Kate Cronin showed her class in the Senior Women's race . Harriette Robinson struggled in the conditions and it was a tough baptism for Isobel Oakes in her first mountain run
Anthony MC Cambridge was determined to give the Europeans another go after his fine 14th place last year and he made sure with a very strong run I wonder what was going through Luke Maher head as he took the times at the finish unfortunately Luke is injured
Aoife Coffey show her dominance in Irish junior women trial with another brilliant run and set her self
In place to face the best in European junior women mountain running
It's always sad to see the juniors having their last run in that grade you see them having their first trial race and watch their progress in the mountains it's tough for them at 20 no under 23s nationally or internationally
Of course this races would not go ahead without volunteers giving selfishly of their time thanks to you all
