Eileen Walsh.
David Kelly70Jan 7 2013, 6:29pmHi Eileen,

Dave

Eileen WalshJan 8 2013, 11:55amThanks Dave, I have an IMRA account and tried to volunteer through the volunteer link yesterday but it didn't work.
I just tried again now and my name has been added ok.
Tks, Eileen.
Pól Ó MurchúJan 20 2013, 10:18pmHey Rach, happy to help out at this if needed but would like to run also. Can give Kevin a hand with registrations or anywhere else you need me. Cheers, Pol

David Kelly70Jan 20 2013, 11:34pmHi Rachel,

I have just changed to non-running online.

Thanks,

Dave
Rachel CinnsealachJan 22 2013, 10:26pmHi Dave,

Thanks for changing to non running. I still need one or two non running volounteers. I need more marshalls, especially if the weather is going to be icy, I'd like to have people out on the course. I also need these people to help demark the course!

And Henny don't even think of becoming a non running volunteer, you always always volunteer, it's high time you did some running :)
Mary CollinsJan 23 2013, 11:37amHi Rachel
I,ve just put my name down this morning as a non running volunteer.
Happy to be a marshal and help mark or demark course--or whatever needed.
Mary Collins
Rory CampbellJan 23 2013, 11:40amme too
Loraine CreaneJan 23 2013, 7:22pmI'm assuming from all these posts that the race is on and not affected by the snow?
Alan AylingJan 23 2013, 10:33pmAt the prizegiving at Howth, our President announced that the Ticknock race would definitely take place, even if there is snow.
Rachel CinnsealachJan 23 2013, 11:49pmAhh thanks folk's. I should be fone for volunteers now. And yes as Alan said this race will go ahead in the snow :)

It will make for more "interesting" conditions :)
Owen MortonJan 24 2013, 3:34pmHi
I believe the regestration is now happening at The lamb Doyles Pub, Blackglen Road Sandyford Dublin 18.

Also the prize giving is in the The lamb Doyles Pub lounge after the race.
Rachel CinnsealachJan 24 2013, 4:27pmThis is correct, Taylors could not accomadate us. They are filming Dragons Den. Lamb Doyles were delighted to get the business. They are expecting us.

Registration and prize giving in Lamb Doyles. Please car pool from Lamb Doyles too, parking wil be tight in Three rock with walkers and mountain bikers.
David Kelly70Jan 25 2013, 10:57amHi Rachel,

What time would you like the volunteers? Presumably around 10am at Lamb Doyles?

Thanks,

Dave
Brian O MurchuJan 25 2013, 11:22amHi David,

With the race start scheduled for 11am we are expecting race registration to be open from 9.30-10.30, therefore we are asking all volunteers to be at Lamb Doyle at 9am
David Kelly70Jan 25 2013, 11:51amNo problem, see you then.
Owen MortonJan 26 2013, 1:47pmGreat day , Thanks for coming to The Lamb Doyles Pub and hope to see all the participants very soon.
Richard NunanJan 26 2013, 2:59pmWell Done to Rachel and Team in putting on a super race Today - The placing of the Ice baths every Kilometer on the course followed by the 3-euro Irish Coffees in Lamb Doyles for runners only afterwards!!! Classic conditions for Ticknock !! Thanks !!

Ahem apologies to the 10 people I took with me on the scenic route :-)
Paul LarkinsJan 26 2013, 3:51pmGreat organisation as ever on another IMRA run, I don't think Derek was the first girl home though
Richard KieranJan 26 2013, 4:27pmThanks to all the organisers and volunteers for a great race- best excuse in the world for jumping into muddy puddles like a 5 yr old!
And Richard- no need to apologise for the detour- we all know we actually won today- rest of the field took a shortcut :)
Richard
Karl O'NeillJan 27 2013, 2:04amWhat a great run. Thanks to all who volunteered.
Mark QiinnJan 27 2013, 9:50amWhat a super course and another great event thanks to all involved.

Rookie lesson learned...don't presume the person in front is going
the right way I need to concentrate a bit more on spotting tape!!

Mark
Declan O'DwyerFeb 2 2013, 12:06amGreat to see the photos up on the website, congrats once more to John Shiels on a magnificent series, showing off the conditions to fantastic effect.
Gerry BradyFeb 3 2013, 4:13pmJust a matter of tagging them now Declan, nothing worse than making the photographer: take them; upload them; and then tag them! 362 to go for Ticknock ...
Declan O'DwyerFeb 3 2013, 11:25pmHint taken Gerry, I did my best!
