MANDATORY KIT for this race is 1. PROPER WATERPROOF Jacket with taped seams. 2. Mobile Phone charged. 3. Foil Blanket or Bivvy Bag. 4. Some kind of food. Parts of race are on open mountain although marked, safety is priority. Checking of kit will be done at start. A WINDSHEETER WILL NOT SUFFICE
Prizegiving Location:
REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN AT THE SPORTS HALL IN CASTLETOWNBERE ON SATURDAY MORNING (20th) BETWEEN 10:00AM AND 11:45AM. No parking is available on the school grounds. Parking is available at the council carpark across from Post Office, next to Garda Station , or next to the Harbor. Parking in the town is free.

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
