Mandatory Kit: Jacket, Mobile phone charged, Foil blanket, leggings (running tights or waterproof leggings), gloves and hat. ****************** I will make a call on the morning if some of these can be removed. As with every other year: CUT OFF will be in place at the top of the Zig Zag path. You must be there 1hr 15min after race start . The marshal at the top will have to stop you at that point. ALSO: Please note that the ZIG ZAG section is one of the most watched parts of the route. The ONLY REASON we are allowed to have the event is in the understanding that NO RUNNER SHALL CUT ANY PART OF THR ZIG ZAG. You must run to every zig and zag completely. Marshals will be stationed along this part of the route and IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION will result from any runner cutting the path here. This will jeopardise the race for future years so we will take this very seriously.

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
