Route Description:
Kiddies race 1km 10.00am Starting 200m in the woods, doing a small loop of the natute trail finish at starting point

Novice and juniors 4km 10.30am> Start at the phone box in the village, apprx 600m on road then into the woods, take 1st right down a single trail over a bridge, bit of a climb up steps through the woods, when come to the top follow till end, take left onto fire road follow this for apprx 1.5k, then left onto nature trail follow single trail to finish at junction in woods Main 11am Start in village at phone box, into woods, onto the fire road, then onto nice nature trail, right onto fire road, then you will start the climb up to Wellington tower, clockwise round tower, down a stone path onto the trail in to the woods, cross barriers to get back into woods with a nice bit of down hill, back onto fire road then back into woods where came out of on first time, when back at junction, take right on to fire road then back onto nature trail, follow single track back to junction right on to road to finish at phone box.
Getting There:
E41 R802 https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZL8WVqduh615UVds7 Anyone traveling from Cork direction, take exit 6 of motorway for Thurles/horse and jockey. You will heading for the horse and jockey on to R639, take a left here for littleton/ Urlingford. As you come into Urlingford take the first right signposted Mullnahone. Follow this road approx 3mile to killcooley abbey wall an old 11th century Cistrrcian monastary, at the end of this wall take the left for Grange village. Parking will be at the coffee dock on the way into Grange on the left hand side. Anyone travelling from Portlaoise/Dublin Road, go straight trough Urlingford, take last turn on left for Mullnahone, follow directions as above
Organisers Instructions:

Under IMRA rules for competitor's safety, it is mandatory to bring and carry a jacket that is shower and wind proof for the entire race. Any competitor seen not carrying or wearing their jacket at any stage in the race will be disqualified. There are no exceptions to this rule!

Prizegiving Location:
Registration at Hogans bar in Grange village. The sports hall will be open if any athlete wants to bring change bag with them for the finish. Parking is apprx 1k from start/ finish and is limited, can i ask as many that can to carpool to do so please thanks.

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
