The start time is 9.30am. There will be an early start at 9.00am for runners. Early starters would typically be >160% of a winners time in an IMRA race. The race director reserves the right to adjust finish times for early starters to at least 160% of winners time.

MANDATORY KIT is showerproof jacket must be carried/worn during all IMRA events.

If this is your first IMRA race a race no. will be given out to you at registration. All going well we intend to use chip timing. If this is your first race you will be allocated a chip to wear on your runner.

Runners should always follow the Wicklow Way. The standard WW yellow markers refer. No short cuts allowed along the Wicklow way e.g. above Crone wood.

We will have water at the turnaround point at Crone Wood.

As per Leo's forum post, the Wicklow Way Half will also be the trial race for the Trail du Guerledan in Brittany on Saturday June 4th 2022. Selection Criteria First two across line men and women, 2 wild cards that have done 3 IMRA races

Finishers prize will be a hat this year.

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
