A 1km section on tarmac brings us to the Glenbarrow trail area. A 3.4km long mix of hardpack, singletrack and sleepers undulates and then climbs to gain a forestry road. Follow this fireroad for 1.5km to the Ridge of Capard carpark. A fast slippy descent through the trees for another 400m bringing us back down to forestry road. Follow this for 3km to the finish and WATCH THE TAPE. The finish is NOT at the Glenbarrow carpark but back at the start on a forestry road.
Short Course (5.3km)takes a left turn at a set of steep steps to join the homeward forestry road.

Volunteers (Non-Running)
You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize
Volunteers (Running)
Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of
people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful,
volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
