Route Description:
The course is a pleasant and interesting mix starting from the festival field near Rosenallis up a tarred road, into the Glenbarrow carpark and down right onto a twisting track alongside the river, a stiff climb beside the river after the famous waterfall and some forestry road and then the fantastic and panoramic section along the new boardwalks before a fast fast gallop back downhill to the festival field along safe forestry roads and then the tarred road you will have ran up earlier.
Getting There:
Getting to Rosenallis; M7 motorway, exit 15 (signed Mountmellick), N80 through Mountmellick towards Rosenallis on the R422, after exiting Rosenallis village take the second left which brings you to the Festival Field. .. http://goo.gl/maps/700J
Organisers Instructions:
Registration takes place in the Festival Field from 12 noon and will be signposted from Rosenallis road in the direction of Clonaslee.

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
