Teams: Senior men (4 to run) and women (3 to run).
Selection policy: One men's and one women's teams will be selected.
Selection basis: Primarily based on European trial results. Other mountain running performances in 2012/2013 will be taken into consideration. All selection is subject to the athlete being capable of finishing within 5% of the European trial winners time and 10% of the Snowdon race winners times. Only athletes who meet the criteria will be selected this means that full teams may not be sent. Selected athletes should be registered with Athletics Ireland.
