Great race, well organised by our glorious leader and he was ably supported by both his volunteers and the co-operative runner bees. Two English raiders stuck to Cobh's finest export like the brown stuff and possibly thought they'd have him on the technical descent but our resident endurance king ground them down for a fine victory to follow on from his Howth heroics. The rest of us were too far back to see this interplay by the way.
Henny and Brendan did a sterling (a better currency don't you know) job of both marking and judicious re-routing of a fine course that avoided the worst of the ice whilst providing the cliched stern challenge we all crave.
Turlough ate my dust and there may be a fight next time if any more than two coffee vans show up :)
