There was a competitive turn-out for this years senior mens trial for the 2006 World Trophy. Michael Kelly led from the start to take first place, while come-back king Robbie Bryson worked his way through the field to take 2nd (is there anything this man can't do?). Gary Crosson took the coveted 3rd spot to guarantee his place on the Irish team going to Turkey.

The senior ladies race was dominated by Caroline Harney, who arrived over especially from Wales to race for Ireland - super stuff! Jenny McAuley took 2nd to guarantee her place on the squad with Orla McEvoy home in 3rd.
