Goal Flash - Wednesday 26th April 2000
Hugh McLindon won the Goal Flash in a canter. The Wicklow Ranger didn't need Silver or indeed any other horse's help in beating former international Bob Lalor and improving junior David Simpson over a treacherous, mist shrouded course up and down Three Rock Mountain. Roisin McDonnell won the women's section from Eva Mulleady and Nina Phillips. All proceeds went to the Irish Third World charity Goal.
