gerry bradyOct 25 2008, 10:33pmGood luck to all IMRA runners competing on Monday and here is hoping Brian MacMahon has a good run and breaks 2:20
Brian Mac MahonOct 27 2008, 4:11pmCongrats to all IMRA runners who ran the marathon today, hopefully everyone achieved their goals and if not are eager to challenge the event soon again.

Gerry Brady asked me to say a few words on my own experience.
Ended up running 2.27.xx. Was going well to 20miles (first 10miles 53:xx, 2nd 10miles 53:xx, 1st half 70:0x). Felt very good as the hillier sections of the course were behind me at this stage, but at 21/22miles I was walking, a monkey jumped on my back, maybe it was a elephant. Pleased I finished as I learned a lot by finishing the race and hopefully with improved fuelling methods I can maintain the pace next Spring.
Rene BorgOct 27 2008, 8:28pmIn continuation with last year's fine tradition, we'll compile a results list of IMRA runners for the Event page.

As I only saw few of those I believe ran today, please feel free to add your times here and we'll compile them as we go.
