Stuart ScottJun 12 2025, 8:56amHi all,

If anyone doing Ben Bulben would like to join for the unofficial bbq and camping in Strandhill on Sat night, don't forget to sign up on the Connacht Champs thread so we know how many to cater for. You don't even have to camp either :-) More details at: https://imra.ie/forum/topic/id/7183

David DinsmoreJun 19 2025, 8:30amWhen I entered this race there was no option to add the shuttle bus, which I now see is obligatory. As I've already entered there is no way I can see to get back to the entry page to register. Could the race director please add me for the shuttle bus.
Kevin O'RiordanJun 19 2025, 9:33amHey Dave, you should be able to "purchase" the (free) shuttle bus entry directly from the shop page (https://www.imra.ie/shop/products/)
Aidan McMorelandJun 19 2025, 11:15amHi all, just a quick reminder -
FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT HAVE SHUTTLE BUS TICKETS PLEASE USE ALTERNATE PARKING OPTION available at Gortarowey Forest Car Park (Coillte), Cashelgarran. (1km from turn off at Henrys Restaurant on N15)(capacity 20-25 cars). 4km from race start at Lukes Bridge. Runners must register in Grange beforehand so please plan this alternative in advance.

Aidan McMorelandJun 19 2025, 3:07pmHi all, an additional 24 seater bus has been booked, running from registration at 10.15 am to race start at Lukes Bridge.
Yvonne ReynoldsJun 19 2025, 3:34pmHi if looking for volunteers I can help out
Daniel MorkanJun 19 2025, 9:54pmHi Aidan, im the same there was no option for me to purchase a shuttle bus ticket when I purchased the entry. I went to the shop and there is also no option.
Turlough ConwayJun 19 2025, 10:29pmI think that the original buses have tickets associated with them, but the additional 24 seater wont. If you don't have a ticket jump on the 24 seater. If you need to jump on the early starter bus then I am sure you can.
Aidan McMorelandJun 20 2025, 11:54amHi Yvonne. Thanks for volunteering- Can you email me aidomc2@hotmail.com.

Aidan McMorelandJun 22 2025, 2:10pmWell done to all competitors on Benbulben today. Results and photos will be posted soon to the event page and IMRA NW FB page.
Mick HanneyJun 22 2025, 6:23pmThanks Aidan and crew for a great event.
First time on Ben Bulben and it was a bonus to be doing that in an IMRA race. The route had a bit of everything. The run to the trig on the top seemed to take an age across the bog.
Well marshalled and brilliantly marked.
Brian MullinsJun 22 2025, 6:34pmThanks to Aidan and all the volunteers for a great race in Sligo today. Definitely had a pint too many in Hamiltons of Leenane last night as I was blowing bubbles right from the start. And Mick is right, that out and back to the trig point across the summit plateau on leg sapping boggy ground does go on forever. But sure we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Great to get to the top of Benbulben, one of the few mountains on this isle I had yet to see. Knocknarea and the Warriors Run is now top of the list for Sligo…..

Congrats to all the winners, a mighty weekend.

Ciara RooneyJun 24 2025, 12:12pmThank you for organising such a fantastic event. As a first-timer in mountain running, I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction! There was such a supportive atmosphere created by the marshals and other runners along the route. Roll on Knocknarea in August!
