Hello everyone,

The IMRA End of Year Social and Championship awards presentation outing will be on Nov. 23rd from 19h onwards at the Merrion Inn, Dublin 4 opposite Vincent's hospital and on the Dart line.

The ticket price -- reduced by a generous IMRA subsidy -- is 10 euro. We will have mixed platters of hot food to suit all taste buds with a drink for everybody.

Event tickets will be available in the IMRA shop from Nov. 1st at 9am till Nov. 22nd at 6pm.

Please do come along to raise a glass to another fantastic IMRA year. We are hoping for a great turnout and atmosphere on the night.

Thanks,
The Committee
Peter O'FarrellNov 3 2024, 4:31pmA very enjoyable 2024 Irish championships produced deserving winners after an exciting series of races. Prize giving will be at the winter soicial.
Thanks again to Pearse Brogan, Laura Flynn, Robbie Williams, Leo Mahon, Vivian O'Gorman and the committee.

The committee have generously provided singlets for those who finished 3 of the 5 races. League finishers in 2024 were up significantly on 2023, which was great to see. Hopefully a trend that will continue in 2025.

Lillian DeeganNov 4 2024, 10:17pmThanks for this Mick. I’m moving Mick’s LC champs post over here in a bid to try and ensure we can encourage the award recipients to join us at the winter social to go all out and have their moment of glory to press the flesh, have the pic taken and reduce the amount of boxes I invariably end up being back home :)
Lillian DeeganNov 4 2024, 10:28pmWe had a great mix of races on the Leinster Champs, from some old favorites to some new challenges..
The RDs were Brian Kitson, Brian McGuckin, Donal McMorland and yours truly.
I was ably supported by Liam Vines in the organisation and we were fortunate to have the support from a great team of volunteers.

Thanks to all those that helped and to everyone who took part and, of course, the hard working committee.

Congratulations to the winners. Hopefully the prize winners can make the prize giving evening at the Winter Social on the Nov. 23rd from 19h onwards at the Merrion Inn, Dublin 4.

Joe LalorNov 18 2024, 3:26pmLooking forward to seeing you on Saturday night. While getting the trophy for the Nav Challenge engraved it dawned on us the winners get no "to keep" memento. Hoping to rectify this on Saturday night. As a reminder the winners this year were John Bell, Paul Mahon and Mike Jordan. Get your tickets early for the social as numbers are needed for the catering.
Maeve FlynnNov 19 2024, 1:07pmHi Lillian,
would it be possible to pick up prize from summer league on Saturday night? I was away for the summer social and missed collecting LL F50.
many thanks,
Maeve
Lillian DeeganNov 19 2024, 3:00pmHello Maeve,
Good to hear from you. I can bring your one for Saturday night, no probs at all. See you there so.

For anyone else who has not managed to pick up their Trail League, Spring League and/ or their Leinster League award, I’ll have two boxes in the van at Powerscourt Ridge also.

Gavin ByrneNov 19 2024, 7:55pmThe Irish ultra championship had some great racing this year, races ranging 50km to 162km.
Congratulations to all who finished the championship or any of the races.
We had some very close racing at times.

Thanks to the Race Directors and there volunteers who made it possible, David yelverton, Richard Nunan, Michael McSweeney, James Tucker and Lillian Deegan

Unfortunately we had no female finishers of the championship but there was great racing from the ladies in some of the races. A few almost got it done so fair play!
Great to see the numbers improving so let's keep growing the sport and get more lads and ladies pushing the limits..

Well done everyone and hope you can make it to the prize-giving.
