is there a junior course on the day, thanks
Niamh KellyMay 27 2024, 2:29pmHi Liam

Yes there will be a junior course on the day
Niamh KellyMay 27 2024, 2:35pmHi Everyone

If anyone is available to help out on race day we could do with one or two marshals and people for the finish line and most importantly a first aider

If your free and can help out it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
Niamh
Daire ConnollyMay 27 2024, 10:00pmHi Niamh,
I'll be able to marshall on the day
Niamh KellyMay 28 2024, 11:52pmThanks so Much for all who have volunteered so far now, all we need now, is for the runners to come on out on Saturday

Event page is updated - we will have an early start at 10:30 am and a Junior route which we will send off after the main group.

This a lovely route with something for everyone and some beautiful views around Johns Hill so even if your new to trail running or more experienced you will enjoy this race.
Joseph BoyleMay 30 2024, 9:31amNiamh is the "St Johns Hill KIlbranish SEL" route that you put up on Plotaroute the correct route for this year?
Liam BoweMay 30 2024, 7:59pmJoseph, I'm doing the marking on the course this year. The first half will be the same as other years but I'm going to throw in a couple of technical descents in the second half. I've put the photo of the route up and will stick a few markers down here and there on the day to get ye all around. 9k in total of which 8k will be lovely single track.
Colm O'NeillMay 30 2024, 9:34pmHi all, are you still in need of volunteers for this event?
All the best,
C

John Murphy74May 31 2024, 6:44pmI'm accompanying my daughter in the junior race. What kit does she need?
Niamh KellyMay 31 2024, 6:54pmHi John,
Water proof jacket and if she is running alone (age dependent all Juniors under 10 must be accompanied by an adult) a charged mobile phone.

Thanks Niamh
Lillian DeeganMay 31 2024, 6:56pmHey John,
Great to see ye are heading over in the morning. On the mandatory kit query - it is the same for each and every runner.

Check the event page to see what RD Niamh has up for this one. Bring all items to reg. and you will be advised what is needed then.

See you there:)

Lillian
