I've updated the race times as follows on the event page:

The Long race will be a "good" 11km, with the Short race being "about" 5km.
Entries will open after the Galtee Challenge this weekend.
Bí ann, nó bí .........
Stephen O KeeffeSep 6 2023, 7:07pmWill there be an early start option for this race Michael?
Michael McSweeneySep 6 2023, 8:43pmYes Stephen. The course will be fully marked so you should be grand. You will have to open and close a few gates though, as the marshals may not be in place yet.
Michael McSweeneySep 9 2023, 10:39pmRace is now open for entry.
Sign in open at 1030am. Sign in closes at 1145.
Can volunteers be at the Top at 1030am also, le do thoil.
Early start for long race at 1130am. Early start sign in before 1115am. Early start finishing times will be placed at greater than 160% of overall winning time. Marshals may not be on the route for the Early starters, but the route will be fully marked.
Looking forward to seeing you all at Ireland's highest pub.
As this is the last race of the Whiskey in the Jar League, we will have the end of league prizes on hand also for those that have completed 4 races.
Sarah GoughSep 12 2023, 11:24amRoughly what is the climb/elevation on the short course? Is it half of the long course - out and back or a loop? Thank you, Sarah
Michael McSweeneySep 12 2023, 8:07pmSarah,
The short course is 5km, with about 200m climb. Nearly all of your climb is in the first half. More or less out and back, with a small deviation. It will all be marked, and there will be marshals on the hill also.
Sarah GoughSep 12 2023, 9:25pmThanks Michael
Maire O'SullivanSep 17 2023, 9:58pmThanks for organising a great race Michéal, and thanks to all the volunteers too. A slushy, boggy, mucky run - my favourite!
Mags HassettSep 18 2023, 7:28amBig thanks to Michéal and his team of volunteers for a great race.
It was tough race in a beautiful place. The course was so well marked.
Stephen O KeeffeSep 18 2023, 8:54amThanks to Michael and all the volunteers for a tough but fun and very well marked course. Great to be able to do these runs again after a tough year with injuries!
Barry MurraySep 18 2023, 9:35amA really well put together race with a mix of everything, plenty of bog, and a choice of Irelands three renowned stouts in Irelands highest pub (apparently) after ! Well done again Michael and crew, I'll try and get a race report up later !
