Organisers Instructions:
On Sunday 10th June at 1pm will see the 4th Munster hill race take place in Sliabh Bearnagh Co. Clare. The course is mostly all on forest track with a small section of bog as runners approach the top. The course is very straight forward and will be well mark for runners who may not have ran this before. Also this course is a proven high quality course as it?s the same one which was used for the trial race for the world mountain running champs a few years ago. Registration and start will take place at Coillte car park, Ballycugguran, Co. Clare. G.R. R 687764 Sliabh Bearnach is easily found if you turn left just north of Bird Hill and go to Killaloe across the bridge. Keep right for about a mile out you will find it on your left,just before the U.L activity centre. You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
