Route Description:
Starting just inside the forest barrier this is an anticlockwise loop. First kilometre is on fire road to spread out the field. Then its on to small tracks and trails which bring you through G String Corner and on to Carnavaddy. From here you are on the Poc Fada route which leads to Black Mountain and the border between North and South. Follow the poc Fada yellow stones till it branches off onto some open mountain running. You will come back onto some forest which bring you to a beautiful river decent all the way back to the barrier.

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
