The first forest barrier on the right side. We have the barrier key to get cars in off the minor road. The fire road for the parking loops around to meet the race route, so if you park up further on it you have a short walk to registration. See photo The paper map you'll need is the EastWest Mapping Lugnaquilla Glendalough map. No digital maps or digital aids in place of a map. Failure to bring mandatory kit items may lead to disappointment at race registration, so please double check you have them. Championship races are open mountain races with no marking. Long course not suitable for Juniors. There is a short option which is open to juniors. Registration will open at 11:45am. Early start 12.30pm. Early start is for those runners normally 160% or higher of winners time.
- Prizegiving Location:
- O'Keeffe's pub Knockananna
Volunteers (Non-Running)
You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize
Volunteers (Running)
Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
