All runners must bring the above items to the race. The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day, depending on conditions etc., and clearly advised at Registration.

You should also have the means to carry all the kit in case required.

Failure to have the required items may lead to you being denied entry to the race, or disqualification. Random checks may be carried out.

Car parking and registration will be in this field.

IMPORTANT:
It is approx. 1.8K from the race registration to the race start so please allow plenty of time to get there.
Strictly NO parking at the race start or finish.
Please car pool from Ahernes Pub.

Car parking will be charged (CARD ONLY, no cash) as follows:
FREE - Full car (4+ people)
€2 - 3 people in car
€3 - 2 people in car
€4 - 1 person in car


Race Entry & Registration:
Enter online - closes at 12pm, Wednesday 17th July.

Registration/Sign-in on the night will open at 6:15pm and close at 7:10pm sharp to allow time to get to the race start.
1) Your name will be marked off the list at the registration tables.
2) Scan your timing chip at the Laptop Operator table to complete registration.

Remember
- Annual registration (€10) MUST be done online (if you have not already raced this year).
- Bring your Race Number, timing chip and jacket - they are mandatory! If you need to pick up a race number and/or chip for 2024, please do so at the registration tables.

Race Route:
The route is as per the above maps.
The Junior / Short Course will be 3.9K, Regular Route is 9.8K.

- Early start option is available for those who are usually over 160% of winner’s time - will be at 7pm.
- Main start is at 7:30pm.
- Junior / Short Course will start at 7:35pm.

IMPORTANT: Under 10s must be accompanied throughout the race by their parent or guardian.

Volunteers (Non-Running)

You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
