- Race entry closes at 6pm the day before the race starts. No race entry available on race day. Registration on the day at Clonbur GAA grounds from 8:30am. Race briefing at 9.50am at start point. Race starts at 10am. There is limited car parking at the race start so Car Pooling is strongly encouraged once registration is complete. Please do not drive to the start point where possible, parking is very limited at the race start and not exclusive to the IMRA event. FIRST TIME IMRA PARTICIPANTS: If you have never participated in an IMRA event before, please create an account with MyIMRA (see top of this page). All runners must be members of IMRA €10 for the calendar year. You will then receive your race number, which you keep for all IMRA events/races. This number will be emailed to you, but can also be found on your MyIMRA profile once you have joined. You can collect your race number at your first race of the calendar year. Entry for races is via the IMRA website. You must also sign in at registration before race start (see above). No on the day entries will be taken. Cost per race is €7 for adults and €5 for Junior/OAP/Unwaged. As detailed elsewhere, a jacket must be carried with you/worn for all IMRA races/events. CAR POOLING Is strongly encouraged, there is an option to add your car for carpooling and to accept carpool spots for races. Please consider carpooling to Mount Gable car park from Clonbur GAA grounds, where possible. It is approximately 1.7km from Clonbur GAA grounds to the Start Point.
- Prizegiving Location:
- Prizes for the Top 3 Male/ Female overall. Post-Race refreshments, tea/coffee and baked goods at the Car Park at Start/Finish Point. Weather permitting. If weather is poor, then we will revert back to Clonbur GAA grounds for refreshments and prize giving. Hot showers available at Clonbur GAA grounds!!!
Volunteers (Non-Running)
You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize
Volunteers (Running)
Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
