• Hat or buff
• Gloves
• Whistle
• Charged mobile phone with emergency number stored
• Foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent

All runners must bring the above items to the race. The actual kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day, depending on conditions etc., and clearly advised at Registration.

You should also have the means to carry all the kit in case required.

Failure to have the required items may lead to you being denied entry to the race, or disqualification. Random checks may be carried out.

Organisers Instructions:

This is an OPEN RACE but is also a TRIAL RACE for the European Off Road Trail Running Championship in Annecy France on first weekend in June. We would ideally look to select full teams in each category. Senior men and women will run 2 laps. U20 men and women will run 1 lap. The target times for qualifying are as follows.: Senior Men 1:06:00 Senior Women 1:19:00 Junior Men 33:00 Junior Women 39:30 The Short Course will start at 11:15am (u20 trial included) The Long Course (2 Loops) will start at 11;30 (senior Trial) There will be a table at half way of long (end of short) with water, sweets etc

Volunteers (Running)

Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
