- 2k ROUTE: The route goes from the GAA pitch out the front gate and turn left and following trails on a loop in an anti clockwise direction behind the GAA grounds, on the side of the Sugarloaf, and back to the GAA Club. - Getting There:
- N11 to Kilmacanogue- take exit at rbt in Kilmacanogue-left onto Quill road, right fork -right onto Glencap Road, GAA grounds.
- Organisers Instructions:
- Schools Run under 10 = 2km under 14 = 5km This race has two distances-all starting at the GAA hall, short course for under 10's and longer 5km distance for older ages
- Prizegiving Location:
- Kilmacanogue GAA Club House Prizes for runners, class and teacher/class tutor.
Volunteers (Non-Running)
You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize
Volunteers (Running)
Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
