- Organisers Instructions:
- Junior course: Yes, starting 10 mins. after the main field.
Early Start: Yes at 19:00. Only for those who normally take 160% or more of the winner's time. If you run in the early start and are faster than 160% of the winner's time, your finish time will be reset to 160% of the winner's time.
Marshals will likely not be in place for early starters.Short Course: There will not be an adult short course.
Registration:
Will be in the forest car park at the end of the access road and will be open from 18:15 until 19:15.
If you are a new competitor, you will collect your race number and timing chip at registration. You keep your race number for the rest of the year, and your timing chip indefinitely.
Existing members who need a replacement race number or timing chip, need to purchase them in the online IMRA shop at least a day beforehand, and then collect them at registration.
If you are collecting a number, and/or a timing chip, then bring a copy of your confirmation email with you.
All competitors, and particularly those who have not competed this year already, should READ the NEW REGISTRATION GUIDELINES.
Mandatory Kit: Mask or buff, race number, timing chip and jacket.
Make sure you observe social distancing and wear a mask when around registration, the start and the finish. You may remove your mask after the start when you reach the first marshal.
Parking & Access:
The barrier at the forest entrance will be open from 18:00 until 19:15. It will reopen at 20:15.
Parking will be in the forest car park and along the access road to the car park. Several marshals will be controlling parking. Your cooperation is essential.
The later you arrive, the further you are likely to be from registration, and the start. The distance may be a kilometre or more, so be sure to allow sufficient time, and if in doubt go to registration ready to run.
- Prizegiving Location:
- There is no official prize-giving. Winners will be awarded their prizes shortly after crossing the finish line.
Volunteers (Non-Running)
You need to have done 2 non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for end of year prize
Volunteers (Running)
Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
