Route Description:

Youths trials will start at 12:00 and will be on an up and down lap with the start around 400m from the car park along the Wicklow Way (see Maps link).
Boys: 5.8 km with 330m climb (3 laps)
Girls: 3.9 km with 220m climb (2 laps)

Getting There:

Starts at Crone Wood Car Park, County Wicklow. Grid ref is O193142. Leave the motorway at Kilmacanogue on the Wexford road to take the road to Roundwood; turn right after 800m towards Enniskerry; follow the signs towards the Waterfall. The start is around 1200m beyond the entrance to Powerscourt waterfall.

Organisers Instructions:

Seniors and junior men races will start at the barrier at the top of the car park and follow the Wicklow Way. Senior women, Senior men, and Junior men born 1996-1997 will finish on top of Djouce.

Runners finishing on Djouce summit should bring a light rainjacket.

Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
