Route Description:

A new route to Knockmealdown 

Race will start at the car park at the top of the Vee. It will climb the short shelf on the lower slope of Sugerloaf and cut immediately for the saddle where Sugerloaf meets the Knickmealdown ridge. Once to the wall (marked) follow the wall all the way to the summit of Knockmealdown itself.

Descend via same route.

From here drop down to the Vee car park to the finish.

The Vee, Clogheen, Co. Tipperary

Registration is in the large carpark at the top of The Vee Gap, on the R668 going from Lismore to Cahir. It's about 8.5km south of the village of Clogheen, and 12.5km north of Lismore

This race is open to all and the cost is €10 per person. If you have already raced an IMRA race this year, please bring your number with you.
