Follow the clearly defined rocky path up the open mountain. After about 3km, there is a Y-junction (in between two streams with a fence). Turn left here, heading straight across a bog to the Devil's Punch Bowl (670m). The top point of your route is visible across the lake in front of you. Turn left at the lake and go clockwise around the it, with a steep climb upwards as you go to the east of the lake. Follow the path around the top of the crag overlooking the lake, enjoying the panoramic views! The actual summit of the mountain (839m) is on your left. Keep going clockwise around the lake, descending towards the stream coming off the lake, and follow the path back down to where you started.

Volunteers (Running)

Check with race director if they have a need for people volunteering and running. Race directors need a minimum number of people available throughout the race to make the race work so non-running volunteers are preferable. While it can be helpful, volunteering in a volunteer and race capacity does not count towards qualifying for end of year prize
