Mná Power on the trails

This Sunday (28th) sees the final event in the inaugural and very successful Sligo Women’s Trail Series at Union Wood, check events page for details.

This series of 3 un-timed runs was designed to build confidence and comradery amongst women, with a long term aim to guide them to the upcoming IMRA West League.

Fifty women have taken part in both runs so far, including the Hazel Wood run which was completed through the teeth of Storm Kathleen!

The entry list for this weekend’s run has already surpassed that number.

At the end of the series, these women will have amassed some great experiences, some new friends and networks and will be more than ready to enjoy the ups and downs of the IMRA West league.
