Robert CunninghamAug 11 2025, 11:36amGregory, it can be tricky to navigate if there is cloud cover.

Vivian O'GormanAug 12 2025, 10:22amHi All,

I am looking for a couple more Volunteers please. Especially
non running...
Marcel SpringorumAug 13 2025, 1:41pmHi Vivienne, are you still looking for non-running volunteers? It will be my first time volunteering.
Vivian O'GormanAug 13 2025, 2:17pmYes please Marcel. If you can put your name on
the volunteer list on the Event page....

I will put more information on here tomorrow....
Stephen O KeeffeAug 13 2025, 2:33pmHi Vivian. I'm signed up for the Cush race, but could help out with registration beforehand if you need help with that.
Vivian O'GormanAug 13 2025, 4:33pmThanks Stephen if you can put your name on the
volunteer list on the Event page please. I'll have
something to you to do...
Vivian O'GormanAug 14 2025, 11:16amI have enough volunteers for Sunday now. Thank you
to those who have volunteered and see you in the
car park field at 10.30am...

More info shortly...
Vivian O'GormanAug 14 2025, 11:50amHi Folks,
Some information for Galtymore...

Race registration will open at 10.45am and close at
11.40am. This will be in the car park field opposite
Glencush Road...

The Early Start is at 11.30am and the main race at 12pm

There is no short course. If you want a short course enter
the Cush race. Also this race is NOT suitable for Juniors...

There will be Summit Marshalls on Cush - Galty Beag and
Galtymore...

The mandatory kit is Level C. It is listed on the Event page. Please
have it all with you and I'll let you know what you need for the race at
registration. You will definitely need your Jacket though!!!

Can all Volunteers be in the field for 10.30 please for registration set up
and I'll let you know what your duties are then...

Any questions - easy ones now! - just ask...

See you all on Sunday and bring the good weather with you!!
Brian HouriganAug 16 2025, 2:42pmHi Vivian. Registration times here are them same for the Cush run? Thanks just trying to work around times to get down to it.
Patricia RyanAug 16 2025, 4:52pmYes, Brian. It's a 1.5k uphill to the start of both races so everyone will have to be signed in and up to the start before 12.
Andrew CoghlanAug 17 2025, 4:23pmI found a pair of sunglasses on the hills today (not sports glasses). If anybody is missing a pair, let me know. Great race today, massive kudos to everyone. It's always a tough race.
Vivian O'GormanAug 17 2025, 6:33pmThank you to everyone today. To ALL my Volunteers...
They were all double jobbing and no trouble to them. Made
my life very easy...
It was a great race. Dry and clear...
Congratulations to the winners Matthew McConnell and Caroline
Harney...
Unfortunately John Fitzgerald was in the wars and I wish him a
speedy recovery. Thank you to Seamus Glynn, Robert McEvoy,
Peter O'Farrell and Tom Hogan for looking after him and Tom
and Trish for taking his car...

The results will be up in a day or two...
Vivian O'GormanAug 17 2025, 6:37pmAnother senior moment!! Nick Hogan not Tom...
Marian ShinnickAug 17 2025, 8:17pmA long shot I know... as there was no one behind me...
Lost somewhere in the ups and the downs of the Galtees - a Black Inov8 Stormshell Jacket (size36)
Most likely blown across to the Knockmealdowns at this stage - but worth a shot to ask. RIP.
Another great event, thanks to all the volunteers!
Micheal McSweeneyAug 18 2025, 7:33amGreat race yesterday. Perfect conditions. Thanks to Vivian and all the crew.
