NIMRA members and the Ulster Championship

Jeff SwordsFeb 25 2025, 4:43pmHi all,

With the advent of the new IMRA race entry and membership system we're introducing a minor change to how NIMRA runners can be included in the Ulster Championship standings.

Previously an IMRA membership and race number for the current year was required. That IMRA race number was then given over when registering for the NIMRA organised races and the subsequent results for those members would be collated for the championship.

Now there's no longer a requirement to have a paid IMRA membership for the current year to be included in the championship for the current race year.

As per Mick and Eoin's recent post, your "Runner ID" can now be found on the IMRA homepage or your profile page when logged on, that number that can be used in place of an IMRA race number when registering at a NIMRA race.

So all that's needed is an IMRA Profile for this website which will automatically assign you a runner ID.

If you've already registered for an IMRA race this year then you'll obviously have an IMRA race number and that can still be used.

If not already a member for the current year and want to run an IMRA race you'll still need to purchase the membership alongside your first IMRA race as per the now standard process.
