| Peter O'Farrell | Nov 3 2024, 3:10pm | A very enjoyable 2024 Irish championships produced deserving winners after an exciting final day on Galteemore in a competitive year with both female and male overall titles undecided starting up Cush. Hopefully all prize winners can attend the prize giving evening at the Winter Social on the Nov. 23rd from 19h onwards at the Merrion Inn, Dublin 4 and reminisce about a great season just gone. This is a great league which brings together runners from all over the island to race on the highest peaks in all four provinces starting on Slieve Donard in Ulster and finishing on Galteemore in Munster. Thanks again to all who gave up their time to organise this series of races with special thanks to Pearse Brogan, Laura Flynn, Robbie Williams, Leo Mahon, Vivian O'Gorman and the committee. The committee have generously provided singlets for those who finished 3 of the 5 races. League finishers in 2024 were up significantly on 2023, which was great to see. Hopefully a trend that will continue in 2025.
