| Lillian Deegan | Oct 30 2024, 11:31am | Morning everyone, On the back of Miriam’s AGM post regarding our above and beyond volunteers, I am on with news of the item chosen for those who have raced 10 events and given back 2 non running helper roles this year. With Jan. 2024 seeing us start the year with a new set of mandatory kit items being required for all events, we picked a spacious type of waist belt as the end of season item. While we await the delivery of the waist belts, we have a number of members who are just below the threshold of meeting the helper non running count. This can be remedied over the last few events for ‘24. Hop on to any of the event pages and pop your name into a non running helper role. And just to note, Munster events do their own IMRA gifting for their runners and event helpers. With this said, I do have a few Munster folk that join us in Leinster from time to time / racing and helping - If you are one of those, be sure to catch up with me at some point to collect your item too. I’ll be back again as soon as I have an update on when we can begin to distribute these lovely IMRA waist running belts. Lillian |

| Pól Ó Murchú | Oct 30 2024, 6:16pm | In fairness to the committee @peter I think they do generally look after those who have gone over and above on the volunteering front and may not have gotten the races in for whatever reason. I doubt anyone with 10 volunteering stints or even near to that would be left empty handed… |
