Richard O'SullivanMay 10 2024, 9:30pmHi, just wondering if it will be possible to collect race numbers on the day of the race? It has been many years (9+ maybe) since my last IMRA race so can’t remember the protocol. Thanks.
Kristen O'SullivanMay 11 2024, 8:14amHi Richard, yes you will be able to collect your number at registration on Saturday morning.
Robert GunningMay 11 2024, 11:50amAre there food or water stations on the way, or carry your own?
Kristen O'SullivanMay 11 2024, 12:01pmHi Robert, carry your own food and water. There will be a water station at the hill road to Knockoura - this is about halfway - where you can refill and there will be another water station about 7km from the finish.
Karlo KraljicMay 12 2024, 1:55pmAny chance of reopening entry for couple of extra days?

Ian SynnottMay 15 2024, 1:15pmHi... anybody know what the terrain is like on the open mountain sections? Is it boggy? Trying to decide what shoes to wear.
Robbie WilliamsMay 15 2024, 3:11pmGrippy over comfort
John CurtisMay 15 2024, 3:24pmJust wondering ( hoping actually! ) if there will be an early start option?

niamh heffernanMay 17 2024, 7:32pmHi there, is it the same route as last year ?
Ian SynnottMay 17 2024, 8:21pmWhat time does reg close?
Kristen O'SullivanMay 17 2024, 8:56pmIan, registration will close at 11:40am.

Niamh, the route is different to last year. You will come off the Beara way at the first style and ascend Mish Kish. Once you reach the summit, follow the markers to descend back on the Beara way walking. Map and full description of the route can be found on the race details page. See you tomorrow:)
Brendan CollinsMay 18 2024, 7:11pmKristen and team, thank you for a fantastic race and a great day in Beara.
Robert KehoeMay 18 2024, 9:31pmYes, thanks Kristen and all the other volunteers and racers for a fantastic afternoon. The climbs were hard, the decents tougher, but the scenry made it worth it, stunning!
raymond smithMay 18 2024, 10:18pmMany thanks to Kristen and all the volunteers, Beara AC for the water stops etc.I must stop following people in the wrong direction. Mostly very good signage and good mix of conditions..I think this will become a must do race on the calendar. Well done everyone
Ian SynnottMay 19 2024, 9:10amI think my wrong course story is the best. Not only did I decide to go up mish fish again but also down it again in the wrong direction :). Added about 1 hour onto my race. I think I was in about 5th place at the time.

It was a great day out tho, and thank you to all the volunteers.

The scenic beauty of West Cork is the best in the country in my opinion.
Mags HassettMay 20 2024, 11:32amHuge thanks to Kristen, Micheal and all the team that put this race together. I know many of them were also up most of the previous days supporting the Beara Way Ultra.
Fantastic race in a stunningly beautiful part of the world. It was a brilliant weekend from start to finish. We had some craic.
Olivier PapinMay 21 2024, 7:26amMany Thanks Kristen and all helpers for a brilliant day.
Absolutely loved the course and the sceneries.
Even added few more kilometres and hour by going bacback up again to Miskish and down...
Sorry for the few runners that followed me.
