Could you please circulate the below to your running club/group or anyone you think might be interested. If you are a master, you deserve a holiday in Madeira, will be fun and see below for incentive! Thanks!! "Dear .., I wonder Could you pass on this information to relevant club/group members? The World Masters Mountain Running takes places in Madeira in September with a short uphill route (9k) and a longer Trail route (34k) taking place on Friday 15th and Sunday 17th respectfully. This is a beautiful Island and well worth a visit in its own right. Some Categories need more Irish runners to make Teams and in many categories a full Irish Team literally puts us straight onto the podium as other International Teams are not filled either. The athletic requirement is simply that you can finish your chosen event! Our group already entered have worked out the travel logistics so you’ll have guidance and help there. The race needs to be entered by this Tuesday 15th August Here are the categories where we are short, and the current minimum World Championship Team medal that would currently be won were we to fill the Team.
