Jim Walsh | May 3 2023, 5:58am | Thanks for all the well wishes folks, the thing is a beast. No two ways about it. Knocknaclohogue tried to break me, again. Was well ahead of last year and although I felt better coming into Drumgoff the soft ground took a toll on the strength you need for the climb up camaderry and all that comes after. Didn’t know I would make it until the last two K! Many thanks to all in IMRA for facilitating the adventure. Richard will be glad not to have me pestering him about trackers! Wouldn’t have been possible without the my family and support crew. To think that they have been there on the three attempts is incredible. Many thanks also to Michael and his Mam for their warm welcome and encouragement at the Lodge. |
Peter O'Farrell | May 3 2023, 7:51am | Well done Jim. Great dot watching as others have said and super well done on powering through on that still sloppy ground |
