On Saturday 27th May 2023, the 16th edition of the World Mountain Running Associations (WMRA) International U18 Mountain Running Cup will be held in Annecy, France.
IMRA held a trial race for selection to represent Ireland on 19th March 2023 and places were awarded and accepted for a team of 4 boys and 3 girls.
IMRA would like to send a full female team (4 athletes) so we would like to open the final remaining place on the girls team to anyone interested in competing and who is age-eligible.

This one wildcard place will be offered to a female athlete born in 2006 or 2007 who applies by email to juniors@imra.ie outlining their current running CV and who has completed at least one IMRA 2023 calendar race taking place between 4th April 2023 and 5th May 2023.

A decision will be made on Friday 5th May and the successful athlete will be notified immediately.
Please note that selection to represent Ireland is contingent on the athlete being in possession of a valid Irish passport and signing a contract with IMRA committing to adhere to the rules and guidelines set out by the HP committee in preparation for the event and during the international trip itself.
