24hr Challenge - Ricki Wynne

AuthorDateMessage
John MurrayJun 10 2022, 2:31pmTo add to the jammed packed weekend of challenges between Wicklow Way Solo and Wicklow Round Attempts there is also a World Record Attempt on Croagh Patrick.

Ricki Wynne will be attempting to break the world record for most elevation gained in 24hrs going up and down Croagh Patrick. There are many elevation gain records done on small segments of mountains or hills but this record involves ascending and descending a mountain in full from base to summit over and over again. To be precise, 15 times up and down Croagh Patrick in 24hrs is Ricki's goal to break the current record.

The challenge is been done to raise money for Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association so if you feel like dropping a few euro I'm sure Ricki would greatly appreciate it.

Ricki is starting tomorrow Saturday 11th June @ 10am and if you're in the Croagh Patrick area drop by and run a section with him or simply cheer him on.

Good Luck Ricki!
