Gerry FarrellApr 11 2022, 7:56amHi all, are the online entries for this open soon or is it still the issue with the site itself is the reason? Thank you. Gerry Farrell
Declan CoxApr 13 2022, 3:01pmAny event details lads ? Only 2 weeks away and folks need to plan, thanks.
Gerry FarrellApr 14 2022, 7:51pmHi all, will there be a few water stations along the route, thank you.
Kevin LenihanApr 14 2022, 11:37pmUsually there are water stops every 10km or so..darragh Bridge, ballyorgan and near the bike centre.
Gerry FarrellApr 15 2022, 6:55pmThanks kevin, appreciate that.
Marcus BishopApr 21 2022, 8:15pmHi there seems to be a problem with the web page earlier when trying to buy entry to the marathon. My account was debited EUR 60, but have not received email notification. Thanks, Marcus
Gaelan ElliffeApr 21 2022, 10:28pmOh dear, I missed getting an entry for this one.
Pól Ó MurchúApr 21 2022, 10:31pmYeah Marcus you are n the entry list. You should also be able to see it in your purchase history.
Adrian CookeApr 26 2022, 5:52pmIs there any possibility in getting an entry for this race. I missed the deadline.
john mckeoghApr 27 2022, 8:43pmHey guys, just wondering is the gpx shared the correct route?
Thanks,
John.
Robbie WilliamsApr 27 2022, 9:22pmLooks good to me
Derek O'BrienApr 27 2022, 9:38pmHi, I’m signed up for the marathon would it be possible to change to the half
john mckeoghApr 27 2022, 9:38pmCheers Robbie I was around the area this evening and saw some arrows. Are these for the Ultra?
Kevin LenihanApr 27 2022, 9:59pmMost of the ultra, full and half course is marked already John.
Kevin LenihanApr 27 2022, 11:01pmThe marathon route is the same as the route last year...the gpx above is from the midnight marathon route where we skipped the river section. Course is well marked with red arrows so no worries about getting lost.
Gerard DownApr 27 2022, 11:09pmHi, if anybody from or passing throuigh Cork is going up to Kilfinane Friday and could offer a lift, it would be much appreciated !
john mckeoghApr 27 2022, 11:14pmPerfect,Thanks Kevin. That's what I was thinking.
Gerry FarrellApr 28 2022, 2:33pmHi Kevin, the above GPX is incorrect so, is that right? Also is the marathon marked with red arrows or is it pretty much the same route for the half, full and ultra? Thanks a million - gerry
Raymond CumminsApr 28 2022, 2:59pmHi Gerry, my experience of doing events like this, are that they are always well marked. The volunteers spend a lot of time putting arrows and tape out and some of the junctions even have volunteers there. The only time I have seen people get lost is when they were chatting and missed an arrow. ;-)
Gerry FarrellApr 28 2022, 3:19pmThanks a million Raymond, good to know :-)
Alan AylingApr 28 2022, 4:52pmJust saw the route change on the plotaroute. A shame to lose that lovely section along by the river. On the plus side, fewer stiles to climb :-)
Kevin LenihanApr 28 2022, 5:42pmHi Alan...route for the marathon is the same as it was the last few years..the section along the river is still there..they have replaced alot of the stiles with gates so should make it a little easier...plenty of red arrows and red/white tape on the course as well.
GARY ARBUTHNOTApr 28 2022, 5:43pmIs there a time for registration please?
Brendan NevilleApr 30 2022, 8:42pmMany thanks to Robbie and his crew of volunteers for another great day - even the weather was great. Well marked course and well done all runners esp the ultras!

Cathal PriorMay 1 2022, 11:12pmThank you everyone that was involved in organising and running the races yesterday.

A very well marked course, with a wide variety of terrain. It was nice to have those extra water stations. Appreciated the encouragement from marshalls along the way. A great day out.
