There was a small field today in Barnastooka as the race was led out by Micheal Cunningham and very shortly a leading group of four streaked away as Sean Twomey took the lead on the stiff climb but his reign was short as the new master from England James Logue led us to the top for the first time and Donal Coffey was now second but the positions all changed after the decent as Sean gave a display on how to decend he held James close on the second climb and realed him in on the bogas he pealed away on the second decent to clame victory on home ground the ladies wasalso a tough event with the Kerry woman Fiola Foley winning well in the end while Maria Carey took a wrong turn and Loretta Duggan went on to claim second and Maria had to be content with third.We would like to thank Sean Twomey for marking the course and aranging food at Jackie Healys Rays pub and thank the staff and Management of Healy Rays For there hospality.
