In a few words

As a contribution to the growing body of IMRA poetry, here's a Haiku report:

The midges were few
Running was soft under foot
Descending I flew

At last ….

Well now it’s taken some many years to cut out that stuff fire road at the beginning of the race well done Liam boom we’re actually running a proper mountain race puff puffing up the first and only fire road to spread out the nut crackers rob flys ahead with the lads and we’re onto the grassy stuff off to the left Tim has pasted me and Rory keep up with then coarse nav’s nicely down around ups and downs Bernard what’s bye so I keep up with him crab the fence oops it’s sharp won’t do that again boom into a bog out of now where we are stopping in are tracks turn right and we’re heading up towards turn to summit mind you it’s long so eventually left and back to running slowly head to summit warren whos running for election says hello and the chase is on bye bye rob Tim and others Jude tries to over take I push on then it gets bye I get up with him and an other dude all the way till the next big down hill after the little up hill bit I then pass your man Jude is a young 17 year old and liked he’s downhills we go go go can’t get him through the gate and then sharp right through the best down bit close trees very tricky section just one early starter gets out of my way thank you I hear a musical sound boom my chests hits the rock back up all good thanks Andy for the banjo madness out onto fire road and pretty much over finish line thanks so Niamh and nuggets for the best race so far this year and defo in my top three of all time off to pub nice sandwich’s and tea body is wrecked good day mikey..,,
