2000 Three Rock Dash
Hugh McLindon put himself in the winners circle with an excellent performance in a dull and cold Three Rock Dash. A close race saw Mike Walters make an excellent descent to take second place ahead of former Irish international Bob Lalor. Bob had led at the summit turn at Fairy Castle, but lost two places and a minute to the winner on the tricky descent.
Emma Sokell tried to continue her winning ways as her descending confidence grows. However, she ran into the descender par excellence Joan Flanagan. The Crusaders runner powered away from the Devon athlete at the summit turn to win by a minute. Emma held off a tremendous run from Jane Watt to take second place.
