Siobhán Kennedy | Aug 19 2025, 9:23pm | Delighted to share that it looks like we have the go ahead for this one - huge thanks to Liam for all his help with it! We're going with an 18:30 start to avoid the crowds and hopefully enjoy a beautiful sunset from the top of the hill. (good weather and views unfortunately not guaranteed) My big ask now is for a first aider and will need a good few volunteers for this as we need marshals at a good few points on the course so please do consider volunteering. We'll have tea and sandwiches after the run in the Wild Goat cafe and then anyone who wants can head over to Veldons for a pint and bit of music! Really looking forward to this it should hopefully be a great evening. I'll be adding more details to the event page over the next few days and entries open on Monday 25th. We've a cap of 60 for this one. |
Siobhán Kennedy | Aug 24 2025, 8:13pm | Entries open for this tomorrow at 9am and reminder that entries are capped at 60. Still looking for a first aider for this one, if anyone is willing to step forward I would be very grateful! I've added a few photos of the course, it was glorious out there today. Plotaroute links are up on the event page for the 7km course and the short course. |
David Sands | Aug 28 2025, 2:42pm | Can my 13 year old daughter run the the full route? I can run with her if necessary. Thanks. |
Siobhán Kennedy | Aug 28 2025, 4:22pm | Hi David, She will have to stick to the short course. It's J16 and up for the full route. Thanks, Siobhán |
David Sands | Aug 29 2025, 11:10am | Thanks for clarifying Siobhán, I wasn't 100% sure. Best of luck with the organising. |
